TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

JUNE 19TH ---- TO THE FIELD DAY EVENT:

The first day will kick off with registration at Thompson-Berry Park.  The park is located at the north end of Carter Rd. which dead ends at the park(address of 1 Carter Rd.).  To get there:

• FROM THE EAST – follow 2nd Street / Hwy. 60 west to Carter Rd. and turn right.  Carter Rd. will dead end in the park. 
• FROM THE WEST – follow 4th Street / Hwy. 60 east to Carter Rd. and turn left.  Travel north on Carter Rd., continuing to the park.
• FROM THE HOTEL OR SOUTH – Get on the by-pass traveling west.  Exit right or north onto Carter Rd.  Continue traveling north on Carter Rd. until reaching the park.

JUNE 20TH --- TO THE DAVIESS COUNTY EXTENSION OFFICE

The second day will begin at the Daviess County Extension Office.  The office is located at the rear of the Owensboro Community and Technical College.  The address is 4800 A New Hartford Road.  To get there:

• FROM THE WENDELL FORD EXPRESSWAY / BY-PASS – Take the Highway 231 exit and proceed south to the south entrance to the college.  Enter the parking lot and follow the signs to the Extension Office.
• We will leave the Extension Office a little after mid-morning and go to Waymond Morris Park and Football Complex.  We will give directions during the morning to get to there.
